  • Capture the Flag Campout Rescheduled Due to the unusually wet spring and the current forecast of an addition 1-2" rain Friday night and Saturday, we will postpone the Capture the Flag Campout weekend until July 24-26th.  Rangers at Rogers Scout Reservation advised of poor road conditions that are expected to worsen with the predicted rain.  The fields we wanted to use for CTF are unmowed as they are too muddy for the equipment to operate.

The Boy Scouts of America was founded in 1910 and has helped young boys grow into fine young men and prepared them with life skills for life’s challenges.

Boy Scouting is a year-round program for boys ages 11-17. Through the Boy Scout program, young men can achieve the core objectives of strengthening character, personal fitness and good citizenship.

NYLT is a six-day course. The Program is delivered in a troop and patrol outdoor setting. The emphasis is on the immediate application of learning in a fun environment. They will learn how to communicate better with youth and adults, how to set and achieve goals, how to be self-confident, how to work as a team, how to teach skills to others, and more.
NYLT inspires participants to understand the methods of team and personal development and how these elements relate to being a leader.
